One of the BEST Scottish cookbooks!
This book is an AMAZING collection of traditional, true-to-life Scottish dishes found in any home across Scotland. Things someone's gran would have made. If you're not Scottish or British, be prepared to look up some ingredients and maybe even some measurements...but it's worth it. My Scottish husband of 30 years and I (from the U.S.) were excited to receive these books and start finding the dishes he loved growing up. I bought them because we're buying a small hotel in the Highlands, and I wanted to be able to offer some traditional Scottish fare to the travelers who stayed with us, and I'm really grateful to have found the Maw Broon's Cookbooks!

Contains lots of popular dishes from my (Scottish) husband's childhood!
This book is an AMAZING collection of traditional, true-to-life Scottish dishes found in any home across Scotland. Things someone's gran would have made with or for her grandkids. If you're not Scottish or British, be prepared to look up some ingredients and maybe even some measurements...but it's worth it.
