R.I.P Retail Store
Years ago I bought a brand-new set of Ping irons. I also purchased a Ping 3 wood that day. The irons I still play every round, but the 3 wood is often not in my possession. My golfing buddies "borrow" the club and pass it around like a joint at Woodstock. Each want to experience the distance and joy of busting a Ping 3 wood. The price of another one on ebay prompted me to order another. That guaranteed I would always be able roll with one from my own bag.
P.S. Shopping ebay vs shopping retail store; do I really need to spell it out?
