Perfectly alters your Sony Bravia TV for universal wall mounts!
2 of 2 found this helpful I was ready to hire a mechanist to custom build me spacers that could screw in the back of my Sony Bravia TV so I could actually use a "universal" wall mount since Sony decided to design their TV's to be 100% non-friendly when it comes to using any wall mount system that isn't the original one that came with the Tv itself.
Obviously this was a problem considering the fact that the wall mount system that comes in the box limits you to using the TV's stand and 2 metal brackets that greatly limit the wall mounting functions. This is a problem for anyone who wants there television to be able to tilt or be moved at all so it's a little odd Sony would add such a limitation to their product. Even worst, their brackets don't end up being spaced 16 inches apart, which is the standard distance between wall studs. Sure, you can screw a wooden block into the studs to fix this issue or use drywall anchor screws but I can see some people simply putting it directly unto the drywall and eventually having their TV fall onto the ground.
Regardless, this spacer kit was the perfect solution to fix this issue easily and extremely well priced. Everything in this kit is built with solid quality and you can feel confident knowing it'll hold the brackets on your TV sturdy, making it safe to add onto a wall mount bracket that actually gives you the option the screw it directly into the wall studs for maximum support!
Just make sure to double check your TV's model number and cross reference it with the compatibility sheet they put with this product before purchasing.
