Beware if you buy!

This printer is easy to set up and works well. However, a message appears on the screen 'A new firmware is released. Update the firmware from Setup menu.' If you do this I understand that it prevents you from using alternative ink cartridges and forces you to buy only the very expensive Epson cartridges.
