Mr choppy

Ridiculously light very powerful well made and will cut a 4x2 timber straight cut so ideal for building stud walls and Architrave but very expensive for what it is. 5ah battery last ages.

Beware has faults

Bought the stand for my flexvolt table saw very handy but big problem with the axle which is made of tin foil, if you are going down a set of steps the axle will bend in half absolutely terrible, brought a new axle cost nearly £40 barely stronger than copper tube and had the same problem. Had to cut axle tube in half and insert a stronger tube of metal to solve problem. The other problem is the wheels (tyres) on my stand are not round but have flat spots so when pushing around feels like they are on cobbles, no problem I thought get them changed but new are no different, very frustrating and really feel some dewalt stuff is just cheaply made.

Bought a refurbished model couple of years ago, they are actually brand new but I think it’s DeWalts way of discounting tools. This is not the first time I’ve bought DeWalt refurbished tools and every time they are always new. Saw is really good but very heavy with the two batteries, Milwaukee just released 12” mitre saw in 18v just as powerful on their big 12ah battery but a lot lighter. M18FMS305
