No Tech Support
I bought the Solo 2 to replace my Solo partly because the LEDs would be a much better way to know if I was up or down on a lap. Great in theory except the lights simply have never operated. I have checked my settings carefully and made sure I’m on the latest firmware. I contacted DT and they suggested I contact AIM. I tried filling out AIM’s support form but it wouldn’t send. I then contacted AIM UK who asked me to send the info to them and they would forward it. That was nearly 2 weeks ago and, despite trying, I’m getting no response.
There’s meant to be an app too but no one knows when it’s coming.
The Solo 2 is marginally better than the Solo with a better interface and WiFi but loses a lot without the LEDs and the total lack of tech support is very poor.

Terrible waste of money
Terrible waste of money - cheap, nasty, and I don’t believe it meets compliance standards. Mine arrived damaged. The water tank would empty before there was one cut done. I’ve also seen the same product elsewhere at about half the price - which would still be too expensive for what it is.
I have nothing positive to say about this thing.

Looks good - operates less well
This tap works well for a while but the mixer lever becomes stiffer and harder to operate over time. Having had one for a number of years before this latest one, the mixed lever leaks and becomes very stiff. It’s possible to buy a new cartridge which improves things for a while.
Minor gripe is that the connection fittings aren’t, it seems, very common in the UK. My local Screwfix didn’t stock connectors on the shelf. Ended up buying complete new tails which was more expensive and a bit of a waste of the supplied ones.
