An excellent bargain set

This is extremely good value. Not sure if the mastering history, but the sound quality is very nice on my Marantz CD6006. I prefer vinyl but at this price point it is excellent. The music: either you like it or not; I do and 'holidays' especially is superb. The slipcase is very basic and flimsy and I would have preferred to throw it away if only the individual CDs had spines on them! Some of these five CD sets do (e.g. my James Brown one) but really, this is a very minor quibble. I am old enough to remember when CDs were the premium product, costing more than records. That wasn't right, but this is a great way to get this music and if you have a good CD player you won't be disappointed.
