Nice and Bright, but lumens overstated
I tested these lights. They are nice and bright. Great! I can't test the lumens directly, but there is no way they are 107500 lumens - this is 10x brighter than sunlight.
I measure the total power consumed, so at 12V, the current was 2.6A making 31.6W of power. These must have an internal biasing system, as going down 10V and up to 15V, the total power was always the same ~32W. This makes the usage easy for varying voltage systems. One strange part was the Low beam illuminated 2 of the 3 sides at 31.6W, and turning on the high beam adds the 3rd side, but the total power didn't change (the internal biasing) still 31.6W.
Now take that Phillips has just announced record LED efficiencies of 200L/W, the maximum output could only be 6400 Lumen. Since production LED's are certainly lower, say 150 L/W, these bulbs are likely producing about 4800 Lumens.
Constructions seems nice, the fan is quite, and effective. Reliability is yet to be determined.
