    Riviting and scary
Could not stop watching. Better than a novel. True life mysteries and the behind the scenes info on crime solving is enlightening.

Gluten Free with taste is possible
The recipes taste good. They are geared for one or two people only and not family portions. The oil that is suggested is canola. Sugar is also used and milk or cream. So the recipes are not low calorie or dairy free. It would lead one to make adjustments if these are ingredients that one wishes to avoid. I especially liked the Chocolate Pound Cake recipe.

    Perfection is Possible
If you are an aspiring baker or one who just dabbles with perfection, you will like this book. The TLC cookie is amazing. Everything I have tried is a recipe to be saved. I have one point that may be helpful. The measurements are in regular and metric so most people don't have a scientific scale, just a digital one that can measure about 5 grams accurately; so you need to switch to the standard American scale (1/4 , 1/8 tsp etc.) for some amount ingredients.. I think this is because these recipes were sized down greatly from the much larger amounts used in the bakery. Therefore the really small amounts are not accurate on my standard kitchen digital scale. This took me awhile to figure out why I could measure 360g correctly but could not get my scale to measure 3g accurately. So solving the problem was doable, just use the standard amounts that are also listed. Or if you have a scientific scale like those used in labs you don't have to consider this. I keep looking over this book for new ideas. It's a keeper.
