Rime-enchanting beauty
Rime was a big risk that paid off. Its so beautiful, charming visually. They have put time, care and effort into every detail. Its like playing in a painting. The sound effects and lighting are wonderful.
There is lots of symbolism within the game, the rare use of the colour red, gold/brass and keyholes. Each world/area is a delight to navigate in.
There was criticism of the games lack of direction or help, this was evident but nothing a little patience and thought couldn't resolve. I loved watching, playing and solving the wonderful puzzles with my daughter. The puzzles were really refreshing and wonderful, i kept saying outloud each view, puzzle or character was "wonderful".
I hope there will be a second game, if so i hope you can have pets or sidekicks as the characters you interact with especially the fox and robots were so delightful you just wanted to engage with them more.
