Flexi, please do not discontinue this leash.
This is my favorite flex leash. Unfortunately, I believe it is being discontinued. Flexi, please do not discontinue this leash just because people have complained about the small handle size.
Yes, it is tiny and the handle is small, but for me that is a plus. I use this leash when backpacking because it is the smallest, lightest flexi leash I have tried yet, so does not add much to the weight of my pack. I also prefer this leash for running my dog. I loop it through a belt, so the small size of the handle is a benefit as it is less plastic to bang against my leg. It retracts much better than the more expensive Flexi Vario. It seems pretty durable, with the spring that retracts the leash almost always wearing out faster than the belt (I am on my 4th or 5th one of these now). Since I hike off trail a good deal, this leash gets dragged through brush, wrapped around trees, scraped against rock and ripped at by thorns, yet still holds up. When this one wears out, I will buy another--if they are still available.

1 of 1 found this helpful These are the best bindings for off trail use since they hold the toe of the boot in good and tight and offer support further back along the toe than other 3-pin bindings. As a result, they are not quite as free for kicking and gliding, but the added support on rough spots and steeps more than makes up for any loss of freedom when gliding.

Pure luxury
This cowl hoodie from Saucony is my new favorite cold weather shirt for running, biking, hiking and casual wear. It is very warm without being thick or bulky and the silky smooth, fleeced interior feels wonderful on the neck and arms. The fit is spot on for me, not too tight and not too loose in my regular size, so I did not feel the need to size up or down. I have very muscular arms and often find athletic shirts/jackets too tight over the biceps, but this one has enough room for non-restrictive movement everywhere. It also has long sleeves which work well with my longer-than average-for-my-size arms. If you don't like neck warmers, turtlenecks or material around your neck, this may not be the shirt for you, but I love it. Its loose enough around the neck that it does not feel suffocating, yet adds significant warmth.. The hood fits loose on me, so it lets in wind from the front, but it's thin enough that it fits great under a bike helmet or ball cap, which helps snug it down enough to keep the wind out. The sapphire blue color is beautiful.
