Awful design - Awful in operation
The Person who designed this product must have been "Drunk". Why would have a network cable inserted from the the TOP - This makes the plug cable untidy unsightly and impractical to keep neat. Worst of all the 3x led lights which give information on working and traffic flow are mounted on the side. Totally impractical and pointless, you will not be able to view these LED's if plugged next to another plug socket. Surely the LED's lighting info should be incorporated on the fascia of the plug socket. Operation wise, very disappointing with low speed output from a socket that was 15ft apart on the same ring network, the further apart I placed the sockets the drop in network speed was noticeable.

Buy without hesitation for Rock Solid performance.
As an it network engineer just thrown out 7 installations of flagship model tp-link wd8960n after all showing symptoms of failure after 9 months fitted within last 18 months. Replaced by this baby, These are in a class of their own, all problems have gone away, the internet is stable and rock solid no more resetting, simple easy menu config, the wireless signal spread is excellent, 4 x Gig ports, ADSL/Ethernet port best of both worlds therefore will accept either Virgin Broadband or BT interface.
