Art Deco + New York -- great combo!
As a professional interior designer who has worked with Art Deco, and who also lived in NYC for over 30 years, I was delighted to discover this magnificent book which goes into fascinating detail about the style, the history, and why it is such an important element of design.
This year (2025) marks the 100th anniversary of Art Deco, which was introduced at the "Exposition Internationale des Art Decoratifs et Modernes" held in Paris in 1925, hence the moniker, Art Deco.

I discovered Jim Haskins a few months ago, and just love his "Cocktail Piano" series. I highly recommend all of them!
