Hilarious story, even preschoolers will enjoy
I purchased this book after watching the animated version at the library. Young children will appreciate the main character in the story because it's difficult thing to learn to share when you are still young. The surprise ending will bring a smile to the audience's faces.

Always modern
I was surprised to discover the first addition was written in 1930s because Barbara Uleland's writing is so fresh, contemporary and easy to understand. A brilliant book on writing I will re-read many times.

Great series
1 of 1 found this helpful I really liked this series of books by Kristine Kershul. The first one I learnt was the French series. I liked how the CD talked through slowly each page and chapter so that I did not have to read the book. It required my interaction with the CD to help me remember the words. The casual, contemporary tone is so easy listening. There are about 5 different French people pronouncing the words from different countries which helps you ear adjust to the different voices. I was a bit disappointed that the Spanish one only had an interactive sound files that you need to hear on the computer. I was hoping that the Spanish one would be exactly the same as the French one. Please consider this when buying that there is less background information and you must be sitting at the computer with your book in order to learn effectively.
