Thought they would be hotter

These straighteners are normal but j was looking for a wow factor when I purchased them for £90. I thought they would go hotter then they did. They still work fine but I didn't get salon straight hair. There is also no temperature gauge and no way to increase the temperature. Next time I would invest in hotter straighteners for the same price.
