Does what I need hygienically
I've used these before and been very pleased at how easily and hygienically they clean and the cleaning but just flushes away. No contact, no spreading germs.
Previous one disappeared, hence new purchase. They're very easily assembled economical and packaging unassembled helps with no excess packaging.

Although this 2 CD offering includes many tracks with examples from all their albums, I have to confess I was rather disappointed. Perhaps I came a bit late to an appreciation of the band and therefore do not have the same feel for the earlier stuff but I had listened to quite a few tracks before I heard anything I really liked, or remembered.
The later tracks are great and I enjoy the varied tempos and the powerful beats. These tracks are so evocative of the era they come from, full of life, zest and energy and often great lyrics too. Ghosts in particular is hauntingly lovely. Hearing it play in Eastenders brought back so many memories and seemed to be so fitting with the actors previous film outing in Quadrophenia somehow. That prompted me to buy the CD as my vinyl copies of their albums were lost in my marriage break-up. I didn't get custody!
I regret that these CD's are a real mixture of the great and the meaningless for me. I prefer 'Snap', even though it doesn't have quite all my favourites.
I was fortunate enough to see the band twice, including the final show at the Brighton Centre - not one of their best but one to remember all the same - they were a band I enjoyed and think they will always be one of my all-time favourites, even in these CD's aren't. I will continue to play and enjoy it for the tracks I do like though.

80's Icons - The Pet Shop Boys - Actually
I am so happy to have this album on CD. I had it on vinyl previously but my ex got custody - I got so carried away trying to get a replacement that I bought two copies by mistake.
I heard a track from this album on a TV show and it brought back so many memories of the times and the music that I had to track down the album and get it for my collection again.
Although the music was heavily reliant on technology, I always enjoyed it. It was and is, great to listen to and even better to dance to. My all time favourite is the track they did with Dusty Springfield but there are others that I really enjoy too. Catchy lyrics and memorable scores make the duo's music thoroughly enjoyable and they are just so redolent of the 80's with it's mixture of new romanticism, punk and techno.
The Pet Shop Boys are true icons of the times, along with other bands like Duran Duran, Yazoo, Blancmange, Bananarama, The Jam and many others - yes, some of them were very commercial but that didn't stop them being fun and great to listen to - upbeat and wonderful to dance to, or drive to. They are still as good today.
