My kitchen favourite
2 of 2 found this helpful This is so much more than a risotto maker. In fact it is rarely used to make risotto!
I mainly use it for searing and frying then as a one pot cooker for curries, ragu, stews and sauces.
Great for steaming. A favourite is steaming baking potatoes which I then put in a pan with a very small amount of hot oil and into the oven at a temperature of 210/220. All they need is 15 minutes to crisp them so very economical rather than having the oven on for over an hour.
No messy stove top like you get with a frying pan as the sides are so deep and anything you make can be kept warm without it spoiling.
