Compression, yes; warmth, no.

They do what they say, but... anyone who has arthritis will tell you that it helps to keep their hands warm. these gloves do not do that. Easy to slide on, easy to peel off, easy to wash, lots of good points; just remember they do not keep hands warm. for the full benefit you will need to put a pair of warm gloves on top.

Versatile and economical.

It is ideal for small-scale cooking. I can make a proper jacket potato or Yorkshire puddings, or a fruit crumble without having to use the big oven. It does good potato chips / wedges too. I haven't needed to clean it yet because I have used containers rather than putting food directly into the wire trays. I think they could be tricky to clean if you don't have a dishwasher, but they are small enough to fit inside a washing up bowl and use the hot water and washing soda method on them. I'm still getting used to it and haven't tried making a cake yet. It probably wouldn't bake more than one 8" sponge cake at a time - that would be enough for me. Ultimately, it is versatile, economical and I am pleased that I bought it.
