'The Shape of Jazz to Come' by Ornette Coleman.
38 minutes (6 tracks) of breathtaking saxophone virtuosity. Ornette Coleman's sound is distinctive and has a wonderful clarity of tone. This 1959 album is renowned as being outstanding for its time and highly influential on musicians that followed. The sound is unique. It is not for everyone though, it is challenging music that divides opinion.
