Give it a try!
I was concerned because the grains were marked as been dispatched on a Friday and did not arrive until Tuesday. They looked ok when they arrived so asap I followed the instructions. The first batch didn't work so well but I read that after being in post the grains may need to rebalance as they have not been fed any sugar for some time. I decided to follow a recipe for ginger beer for the next batch which turned out great. It's now a week or so and I'm on my fourth batch and the grains have nearly doubled. For a couple of quid it's worth a try!
