New life for my 2011 iMac!
3 of 3 found this helpful My 2011 iMac had became very sluggish, and then the HDD died! I replaced the dead 1TB HDD with this gem, recovered all my files from a backup, and voila! My old computer is faster than ever! You can do this yourself, but you will need a special cable sold by OWC if you want to repair or upgrade your iMac. I am sure it will be a lot easier in other computers.

Full-featured ultra-compact camera
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this camera with only one purpose: street photography. This ultra-compact 35 mm camera features a terrific, crisp 35mm/f:2.8 lens that performs well under all circumstances.
The XA was introduced in 1979. It is an aperture priority automatic exposure rangefinder camera. Manual override is not an option, except by changing the ASA range of the film. The rangefinder is bright and easy to use, although smaller than I am used to. The XA is almost as compact as modern digital point-and-shoots. Its small size and very quiet operation make it a favorite for street photography of any kind. The XA has been in my pocket since I bought it, and I have ran several rolls of film through it. This little camera performs flawlessly.

Pentax PZ-1p professional AF camera
3 of 3 found this helpful What a wonderful camera! From fully automatic, auto-focus, to fully manual. I have shot several rolls already, and the camera is a pleasure to use. Compatible with my old Pentax K, KA, F and FA lenses, a great all-around performer.
The camera is not small. It feels heavy and substantial, with about the same feel of my old manual LX. Uses 2CR5 batteries, which now can be found in a rechargeable version for susbtantial savings (2CR5 batteries are very expensive). I use the camera with a 24-135 mm lens for walk-around, and with Pentax prime lenses for portraits or other special uses. I would recommend to anyone interested in this camera to combine it with a 50 mm/f:1.7 Pentax F or FA lens.
