The Fisher Price of Sat Navs: Intuitive, easy to use and all you'll really need.
1 of 1 found this helpful There are - especially with now greater fines for car mobile phone use - when a mobile Sat Nav app simply won't cut it. On the other hand, paying too much for a Sat Nav is not clever.
The Binatone is bargain basement territory but insanely easy to use. In a matter of minutes, it really is ready to go out of the box. There's no SD card needed (all uploaded into the device), so simply press and go.
Given the still too high prices of other models and makes, this is a real 'no brainer'. If you're on a budget and want something that'll simply do what it does, this is ideal.
The screen is clear and uncluttered, and the voice commands very, very clear. Unlike other Sat Navs, it gives plenty of warning before a turn (some are such short notice they almost force emergency braking and turns.
At this price, pretty much critic proof, and with a bit of crafty searching, you can get this at just over £30.00

Incredibly energy efficient and so easy to install and use.
There a number of advantages this oven offers. 1. It is plug in, using a 13 amp standard socket, and not hard wired into a 30 amp main. Not only is this very handy for the layman, but it means it consumes less than half the power of a 30 amp oven. It is A rated. Our old one was 'F'. 2. Although a standard sized oven, it has more space inside than the standard sizes (about 66 litres). An increase of space to 73 litres (7 litres) is close on two gallons of fuel space. 3. Finally, the controls are simplicity itself. 4. The oven warms up very, very quickly, with a range of functions. 5. The oven is considerably lighter than our replacement, so easy to handle when installing. One slight niggle (not with the oven but the instructions) is that, there is no explanation as to how to over-ride the mechanical timer (sometimes you need the oven on for cakes, baking, etc. You simply turn it counter-clock wise to 'M' for manual. We could not find this in the manual. Overall, 9/10. Excellent value and incredibly energy efficient.

Disappointing from the market leaders. Not strong and cheap fittings.
0 of 1 found this helpful I thought I'd try hozelock as they're the market leader and this was a good price. I've not bought Hozelock for years because their fittings are very expensive, and not much better than competitors.
As soon as I opened the box, two tiny aligning pegs had already sheared. They are pointlessly flimsy. However, this did not affect the overall structure.
But. The screws and plugs supplied are too narrow and very cheap. The hose immediately pulled of the wall. I fixed this by using my own fittings.
The round panel alignment is not thought out at all well; it makes fitting the hose very awkward. And the hose reel hangs precariously on three holes (again, flexing. The plastic needs to be a lot thicker.
Unfortunately, the description is inaccurate too. It will only take 30m of 12mm hose (20m of 15mm standard hose). However, even with 30m of 12mm on the reel, it feels overloaded.
The hose guide is badly designed (see above - already broken in transit); pretty flimsy with the same cheap screws and fittings.
Overall, the plastic flexes and I have no doubt I'll have to replace this in a couple of years.
Unfortunately, back to competitors next time round.
