Just Say NO!!!!!
8 of 14 found this helpful I bought this generator to power my travel trailer at deer camp in November. I purchased it in the spring on ebay wanting to check it out in advance. I called customer service the first day after I got it because it surged and lt kept blowing the breaker. They said to let it run all day and break it in. It did seem to run better after running all day. It still surged some when plugged into the RV. I took it to camp in November, let it run 2 hours without powering the RV, a break in so to speak. It surged up and down. The 4 of us at camp discussed what may be wrong and we adjusted the plastic screw on the side of the carb. When screwed all the way down it ran fair. We adjusted it up and down trying to find the right spot before we broke it off. I contacted customer support, they said no problem, They ordered me a new carb and only charged me shipping. I said ok. That was in December. Now, February 23, 2013 they expect to ship me a new one by March 3. Everyone is extremely nice when you talk to them but I have a broken generator I have not ever been able to use. They are selling thousands of new ones on ebay but they cannot take care of one that does not operate properly. I am waiting on a phone call from a manager because Brandon Bower from Duramax Factory Outlet said that was all they could do. I am no mechanic and I am going to have to pay someone to put it on. So, I am in the process of leaving bad ratings on the company where I can and filing a report with the BBB. Its a pain but when I mentioned it Brandon just said to do whatever I had to do. Great Customer service right? If you need a good generator I would shop elsewhere, If it quits working at any point its more trouble than its worth.

you get what you pay for
5 of 7 found this helpful Really small, lightweight and will not stay together no matter what I do. Its not worth to trouble to ship it back. You cannot sit on it and its flimsy.
