A great album, but an aquired taste
I'll be honest, this bad boy isn't at all like anything what Em has created in the past. A lot of the songs have more of a pop/rock kind of vibe which some hardcore rap lovers who have followed his music for years and are used to his usual style might not enjoy. Hell, there's even a song or two that have a bit of a soulful kinda vibe. This is definitely not an album for a casual listen either, Em pours his heart out with this one and most of the album has a pretty sorrowful feel to it because of that - but make no mistake, this is definitely not a bad album at all, just different is all. If you're okay with that kind of thing then you'll enjoy this one, if that sounds a little too different for you however then skip it and try Kamikaze - that one feels more like classic Slim.
