On/off button.
This is the first weather radio I have ever purchased that has no ON/OFF switch. Once you install the batteries the device powers up on its own. The only way to shut it off is to remove the batteries. That means having to remove the pocket clip to get to the battery access cover. As far as the radio itself, it's a great radio. It has great range, bright, clear display, plenty of volume, fits the hand well, and is easy to program. I have three of the ACURITE lightning detectors and they all have on/off capabilities. Again, the radio works great. Not having an on/off switch is a deal breaker for me. Ad the on/off switch and I would highly recommend this product.
