Economy, performance, serviceability
This spindle gives the bike's pair of chainrings the corect chainline. The cones are smooth. So far there has been no loosening - no play. Cups and cones does demand more installation skill than sealed bearing bottom brackets but it costs less.

Appropriate chain for a vintage freewheel
