The (original) Bionic Woman
Finally, the original Bionic Woman series has come to home video (In the US). Previously only available overseas in a remastered set of 2 seasons, Season 3 was never released. The rights to this show and SMDM (also available from Time Life exclusively until October of 2011)have finally been acquired and the series is now available on DVD. The first season set consists of all 14 season 1 episodes plus the 2 SMDM 2 part episodes that introduced the charachter. The Bionic Woman episode also includes writer/director commentary by Kenneth Johnson (Incredible Hulk, the original V mini-series, and other shows)Seasons 2 and 3 are already being remasterers and are expected by Spring or Summer of 2011. The video transfer is great considering the age of the elements used to create the DVD set. Ironically it looks better at 480i then using 480p using Component cables but does look good at 1080i via HDMI upscaling on my Blu Ray player so anyone using an older TV and a standard DVD player should be pleased with the transfer. As mentioned earlier, the Six Million Dollar Man is now available as a complete series set at Time-Life exclusively through October of next year. It has all 100 episodes, 3 pilot movies and 3 reunion movies, plus ALL of the crossover episodes between SMDM and the BW. I have already ordered mine and can hardly wait.

New Extras make this a better DVD
This DVD includes extras that could have been released when the first disc was made available. Presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 and in widescreen. This movie is a great, modern day Indiana Jones style treasure hunt crossed with Da Vinci Code. Released in time to promote the sequel "Book of Secrets" and includes the trailer. What's too bad is that the original trailer should have been included. The extras included on this set are Excellent, deleted scenes, alternate ending and 4 new documentaries on this set.

Die Another Day - 1st DVD release better than 2006 set
This version, being quite new as the movie was only 4 years old when re-released on DVD in one of the multi disc mixed volumes of 2006, again as a 2 disc set. While both deliver both Dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1 soundtracks, the box set version is lacking in trailers even though the trailers are supposedly mentioned on the packaging. The 2006 version may include some new material but the menu segments for the entire 4 volume set is taken from the menu set of the 2003 DVD release of this title. Beware the UK version of the same title as some of the earlier releases were shorter than the US release by as much as 10 minutes or more.
