Palm is Palm
2 of 2 found this helpful Though the technology is outdated now,old is still gold.Compared to the new fangled devices, the Palm is still a pretty sturdy piece of hardware that still connects and functions like it was supposed to in its time. Yes guaranteed new technology is faster, sleeker and shinier but it has its own woes. If you are looking for a handy device to use as an eBook Reader, browse the web, play music via bluetooth to a connected speaker and still have a long battery life after all this then you will get far with the Palm. Unfortunately the APP market for it is officially shutdown operations but you can still acquire what you need from people like me who love the sturdy form factor and simple APPs that do what they should. Having WiFi and Bluetooth is an added bonus. Of course Memory is limited but don’t forget the device came out when a gigabyte of memory was considered a lot by manufacturers and people were using Pocket PC’s with 64MB etc. The device can support up to a 4 GB SD card with a special method but a normal FAT32 formatted 2GB card will work out of the box. Enough to store multiple books and music. If nothing else get it for its sentimental value when the pencil box Nokia’s were the in thing and a single battery charge lasted for days not hours.
