Good stuff from NGK
I’ve grown fond of these NGK spark plug caps in recent years. They look right to me after years of preferring metal caps and the quality and design is excellent. It’s also good to have the variety of angles and colours on offer plus the benefit of waterproof seals.

Does the job perfectly.
There's not that much you can write about this. It's a lump of metal. It fitted my mower perfectly so I'm very happy with it.

Perfect for a solid fuel stove
The design of this coal hod is so much more sensible than the traditional ones. This one fits the width of my Rayburn fire box perfectly and it's a whole lot easier to lift the hod and refuel the stove than it used to be. The swivelling handle makes all the difference and you can rest of the 'mouth' of the hod on the firebox edge while you tilt the hod up to fill the stove. And it fits neatly next to the stove without taking up so much floor space.
The capacity of the hod is about 30% less than the one it replaces. In practice that's been OK because the weight of the previous hod when completely full was getting to be excessive. But the downside has been more frequent trips to the bunker.
I'm not sure how robust the fixing pins on the handle are going to be in prolonged use. They look relatively flimsy but are still OK after a few weeks.
One unsatisfactory aspect of the manufacture is the quality of the seams at the base of the hod. They do not form a perfect seal and would leak coal dust readily. As it is, I seal the inside of the hod with car body underseal to protect it from corrosion and this also blocks the holes at the corners and prevents dust escaping.
Altogether a big step forward.
