They nearly got it right!
Only a modest speaker unit but being able to position it gives much better sound than from the radio speaker. The switched filter gives a useful 'top cut' and the -8dB switch gives a good reduction in volume when your attention is needed elsewhere. Good lead length too but oh that bracket design and just for a few millimetres more! Nice to have screws and spire nuts provided but the speaker fouls on the screw heads when you try to swivel it! (it fouls on the bracket even without the screws) There is just enough metal to file the pivot holes into open slots to cure the problem (makes speaker removal quicker too), also mushroom head screws can help. Note that the bracket is asymmetrical and that swapping it round may just give the angle of swivel that you need.

Cheap and cheerful
I bought it for cheap staging to go in the space under a cold frame on legs and wouldn't have it in the house as a shoe rack! It needed several large 'splinters' removing, a repair to a broken dowel, plus some glue and a few pins to repair bad joints. With a few coats of outdoor woodstain it is fine for my purpose but wouldn't last long as a shoe rack. You pays your money ............

Nice glow
On 24/7 and gves a nice blue cast in a blue room, not too bright for sleeping and ‘filaments’ look retro.
