Works well, very good value
1 of 1 found this helpful I have found this scale to work well. The buttons are rather close together which is a bit fiddly, but they are positive in action. The instructions suggest allowing a time for the measurement to settle after switching on, and I have found that once it has settled it appears to read consistently.
I think it is a nice robust design with a well fitting lid that clicks shut, and it strikes me as very good value for a precision scale that appears to be work well measuring down to tens of mg.

Very good value
1 of 1 found this helpful A V15 III cartridge is not something you want to ruin the sound of with a cheap stylus. This is a relatively cheap stylus that to my mind, having tried another generic one with less success, doesn't ruin the sound at all. It may not match an original VN35E, but I think it still delivers a very good sound, and I am fairly fussy about such things.

Nice scales, but didn't last very long with regular use.
I was at first pleased with this as it seemed to be quite nicely made, and worked well for small items or small quantities of loose material with its good size platform and trays.
It has a minor niggle that while able to resolve to a very precise 0.01gm, the zero seems to wanders a bit at times, by up to around 0.03gms or more in either direction. So to be assured of the best accuracy if that is desired, it is necessary to re-check the zero, such as by pressing the 'T' (tare) button and re-weighing a few times.
But sadly after regular use for a period the buttons started to fail to work. The two buttons I used, the on/off and tare button, both gave up at around the same time. I took the scale apart rather than send it back, and found no mechanical damage, but the buttons were failing to make good electrical contact. (I swapped a component with one of the other switches and it worked again, which proved the fault)
So I would recommend it as very good value for money, but only if you want to use it just once in a while.
