Computer arrived extremely late. Seller did apologize about a post office mess up but did not attempt to upgrade shipping. Computer is defective. Fans

Computer arrived extremely late. Seller did apologize about a post office mess up but did not attempt to upgrade shipping. Computer is defective. Fans spinning full blast making it go super slow. We ended up removing the board and installing in another computer and that solved the issue so it's obviously a defective top case. But I don't have the time to send back. Seller should check unit before putting it up for sale,
