seems well built
Its replacing one that let water get in the motor, this one seems like that won't happen, so, happy about that

Ruger made a bad rifle
0 of 5 found this helpful I can't ding the mag, but I wasn't aware that the Mini14 design is flawed on how the magazine is inserted. I'd had thought a rifle thats been around this long would have had such a glaring defect fixed. You have to insert it by "rocking" it in. Even then it still might jam as you have to do it just perfect. I'll never buy a Ruger, ever, now. Again, can't fault the magazine, even the factory ones have this problem.

outshine factory ones by a lot
given how poorly the factory ones are this is a huge improvement..so five stars..but the quality isn't there... But still five stars.
