Best dynamic microphone I have ever bought. You could use it in replace of a high end condensor!
3 of 3 found this helpful I own Sm58 beta, AKG D5, Seinheiser 945, and many other dynamics, all those are good microphones, I also own condensor vocal mics such as the AKG C5. This mic does not feedback like all my others at high levels. The microphone is simply amazing and worth every penny and then some. The sound is as articulate as a great condensor mic regardless of what another reviewer stated...this is not a condensor mic but he the qualities without the feedback, I do not think it should of been compared to a condensor...That being said I am beyond meticulous about sound and I have used this to record many instruments next to a condensor recording mic and Everytime I used the M80 for my main mix. It is built like a tank and a heavy feeling microphone. Cosmetically it is a beautiful microphone and has many cool color options. The best use is live performance because I have yet heard this mic feedback and it blows away all my other microphones as far as how well it projects and articulates the sound clearly through the mix. The sound blows me away whether a woman or man is singing. I will be buying a few more of these microphones. Probably every color...lol! I would recommend this microphone over anything out on the market period.

Best microphone coming from someone with 20+ years performing in Rock Bands
1 of 1 found this helpful Awesome Microphone!!! Really cuts through the mix. I play in a rock band where we all one various brands and types of microphones and the ND767A tops them all...Blows away the Shure 58, the AKG's, seinheizers, etc...This microphone perfroms much like a condensor mic for you can back away from it and it is still above the mix, alsop allowing you to have great control of the dynamics of your singing...also has the great clarity. It also can crank much louderthan other mics (I have tried them all) without the feedback or distorting. Also works great in smaller rooms. Best dynamic mic I have ever used by far!!!
