VIA EPIA 800 - Good but aging fast next to Intel's Atom

The VIA EPIA 800 Motherboard is very power efficient, perfect for building a small home server for storing music, videos etc. PROs: Very power efficient. Small and compact. Quiet in operation (Not silent- it has a small 40mm fan) CONs: Very slow by modern standards. Only accepts certain SDRAM - many of my larger (256mb) modules only showed up as 128mb. Does not have any SATA ports- IDE only. Not totally silent.
