Dualit Café Cino Milk Steamer, 84850..

Great machine. Good quality, compact, excellent performance.

We have always used a bean grinder and a small portable espresso machine with a built in steam wand to make great coffees at home. Our new house has a very expensive built in espresso machine - which produces great espresso (without having to grind the beans or pack the handle) - but the automatic milk steaming function lets it down. We bought this standalone steamer from the UK to produce proper steamed milk to go with the espressos. The Dualit machine is compact and powerful. It can easily steam milk for more than one cup at once, but I'm still getting used to it, so doing one at a time in a smaller jug. It has more power than the steam wand built into our portable machine - so it's quicker. It's also very handy to have the ability to make espressos on the built in machine while you steam milk with the Dualit machine - particularly if you have visitors. A much more efficient production line! It's a shame the machine is not available with an Australian plug, but the UK voltage is the same so a cheap UK/Aus plug adapter does the trick.
