Absolutely Amazing!
Absolutely incredible! Now my Subaru hood prop rod is secure, and I no longer have panic attacks at night and can stop taking multiple opiates. A life transforming purchase!
Universal Press and Pull Sleeve Remove Install Bushes/Bearings/Seals Tool Kit

Sturdy and good value
I can't comment on the durability or efficacy of the threaded rod parts that some find lacking, but the sleeves on first use seem quite tough and effective. I used them with a bench top hydraulic press to replace the bushings in some Subaru control arms. Given the 13 years these bushings were in the control arms, and that it maxed out my nominally “10 ton” press to remove them, I'd say the sleeves are quite strong. Not likely you will find anything better at or near this price. These days it seems like all tooling like this is made in China, and the various options pretty much come down to what color case do you want. No longer do you really have an option to pay double and get something higher quality - it's all the same.

Steelman (STE6600)

Very useful tool
Perhaps not a professional quality tool, but it works very well for my occasional DIY home auto repair. Wish it came without the funky headphones for less $$. Doesn't everybody have multiple sets of earbuds these days? That's what I used with a mini-plug mono adapter (so you have sound in both ears like their headphones). I suspected a left front bad wheel bearing on our Subaru, and could feel a very, very slight vibration in the coil spring on that side with the car jacked up and the wheel rotated by hand, and no vibration on the other side. Except for the slight difference side to side, I would not thought anything of it. However, I was stunned at the noise difference left to right using the Steelman mics clamped to the coils springs while driving the vehicle. Even at 5mph, a speed where I could not normally hear any bearing noise, the difference in noise levels between the left and right wheel bearings was overwhelming - dead quiet right, and deafening left. This will prove to be a very useful tool. Yup, with a bit of time, I could have built something better than this tool for less, but I'm busy and just wanted a quick answer. Really lets you peer into what's making noise under your vehicle.
