Nice item
I just used the plastic as the insides of my old remote were still good and I didn't want to hassle with reprogramming. That being said the quality at least of the plastic was great, and my remote is back in one piece.

Great lens
0 of 1 found this helpful I took this lens out of the box, took a couple of test shots, and proceeded to shoot a high school football game. Pix were published with a story in the local paper (circulation 300,000). Sharp lens, it's heavy but I mostly use it handheld with good results. There's no other f/2.8 lens available on the market to compare it to. I won't compare it to a Canon prime, which is double the price and financial unobtanium for me, but I am very pleased with picture quality and handling.
This ishould not be your first lens or second lens probably not even your third lens. Before you buy it you should know you need it and why. Like any lens of this type you need to pay extremely attention to your auto focus technique, especially since you probably bought it to shoot wide open in low light. It's not the kind of lens you can just point and shoot and expect consistently good results. That being said I get a pretty decent keeper rate under challenging conditions.
I rented a number of different long telephoto over the period of a year before making the plunge and am pleased with my choice.
