Quad quality sounds great
Quad are a well known "high end" acoustics company with a reputation for quality with all its products The Quad lite range are a lower priced bookshelf speaker from the Quad range used either in a two speaker set up or a great 5.1 set up in a living room. I use them as bookshelf speakers linked up to a Denon RCD N8 in my kitchen. Whatever the set up for these speakers they do a great job pumping out a fine range of sound including a very adequate base from such a small set of speakers and compare well with other contemporaries such as Monitior Audio.

Great for the Kitchen (or bedroom)
2 of 2 found this helpful Ours is fixed to a wall bracket, it's nice and light, easy to set up and the picture is a good quality. One disappointment is the mains cable length. This must be the shortest of any of the manufacturers (about 1 metre max) so unless your power point is very close by you may need an extension lead. The Wi-fi set up (ours is wireless) went smoothly first time thanks to great on screen set-up instructions. The experiment with Smart worked out well. You have to be patient when entering the search details on the hand set cause it simply isn't the same as using a keyboard however fast your texting fingers maybe, so you have to brace yourself for time frustrations especially if you're going to use the "Smart" option a lot. The hand set is well laid out and it takes little time to get used to menus and general functionality. The sound is good enough for a TV like this but you would need the hearing of a bat until you get up to 40/50 out of the 100 max so it makes you think it is turned up a lot but there is adequate volume available. Overall a good quality white 24" TV with a good picture and reasonable sound. If you expect more for the price then your expectations were probably a little too high! Lets hope it lasts fault free for a good time yet.

Broken
Plastic nib inside spout was broken so filter could not be fitted. This is a poor reflection on the supplier not the kettle.
