Good once custom work is done
If you're handy with a file/dremel and some polish, that's what is needed to make this tool truly usable. The finish is rough, and the wedge edging is really fat and rounded, so you have to re-contour the ramp and polish it so it slides under the race. The tool isn't a good choice for carbon crowns or races that are pressed mating with the crown, you need a slight gap to get started properly. Otherwise, it does the job, and on the less expensive forks, I use it often enough to pay for itself many times over.

Training tire value
The CST Czar isn't a tire you'd road race, TT, or Tri with, unless your budget is super tight. They are a really good value for training rubber to save the 4000sII tires that broke the bank. All the CST Czar tires have a slight hop (out or round) and a heavy side, but is tolerable on general road rides with our semi smooth to rough pavement. Grip is good in the dry (straight line and turning), and wet braking is fairly poor, so you have to think ahead and modulate the brakes. Colors don't seem to make a difference, just roll with what you have. After about 1800mi on one set, and 600mi on another set, they are wearing as expected, and giving great value for the economical cost. Cheers!

A superb purchase experience, and great example of a person who practices "pay it forward." Much more than expected. Even my wife said "wow, that was a fantastic transaction." Have 40k TT this weekend to see how they perform. Cheers
