A must for recovery from complex PTSD, sexual trauma
1 of 1 found this helpful An incredible read, very powerful, thought provoking and an invaluable tool in the healing process from sexual trauma. I felt like the book was written from my own past and so much of it resonated with my own experiences. Please be aware that reading this book will provoke painful memories but will also give you clarification of all that you felt and thought was ok, others have been through the same and pulled through this. Use the tools in the book and you WILL start to feel a difference, be able to take control and move forward in peace. The writer must be commended for the strength to write such a graffic, heartfelt, in-depth book of such a personal detail and so many others who took part sharing their stories in the plight of helping all if us survivor's to survive the horrors of what we have been through. This book will become part of your every day go to therapy but I recommend you use this in conjunction with professional help to fully understand and appreciate what you and others have been through. Many of us have hidden these secrets for many years and never told a living soul of our ordeal yet this book outlines it in great detail, thoughts, smells, things we have felt, seen, tasted etc. It WILL hurt, it will provoke feelings you don't want to release but with the help of this book you CAN survive. Be strong, take back your control and be free
