Simple camera remote
The cable is around 1 metre long, and the USB connector fits snugly into the USB connector on the camera. Clicking the button results in an instantaneous shutter release, and a half click focuses an automatic lens or takes the camera back to shooting mode from viewing mode. A possible downside for some people is that it can be very easy to knock the hold ring, which will prevent the shutter release being pressed on the remote.

Excellent beginner book about digital photography
1 of 1 found this helpful Uniquely, Scott Kelby's book breaks down each topic down into a single page tutorial or explanation. The book is very easy to read, and can be browsed for something specific, such as lighting a flower, or finding the exposure setting for a landscape. I appreciate that each page (example) takes less than 5 minutes to read and emulate.

Quality tripod
1 of 1 found this helpful Compact, and a little short for taller people, but very convenient and easy to carry around. Solidly built and strong.
