Simple, effective & very good value
A 'blast from the past' it might be considered by some! I can't recall now how long ago it is I first got one of these devices? I really like the simplicity of this product. Forget any hooking up to the internet and/or any complex scheduling via a clever phone app, just use the remote control to turn on/off your TV, as you might, and a multitude of other devices (as you have so connected them) will turn on/off, 'in sympathy'. At Christmas, I connect up our Tree lights to the device too. Despite having acquired one a number of years ago, I began experiencing some problems in recent months with things turning on 'in sympathy' with the TV. Naturally, I suspected the 'Power Down' product and so hunted down and purchased a new one (two for only £6 delivered, in fact). Alas, the problem has turned out to be with one of my ageing (connected) devices having developed an issue! As I say, a nice and simple (no frills) gadget, at a fantastic price.
