Magic lantern guide
I have a magic lantern guide for most of my cameras, I bought the D80 for my son as it was his fist camera and let’s be honest, the manuals with cameras are “a bit wordy”.
These guide explain the functions of the camera in simple terms, what they actually do and more importantly, when they will come in handy.
I’d recommend them for amateurs and enthusiasts alike

Sb-800 speedlight
3 of 3 found this helpful I have three of these in my kitbag now, and for me personally they’re an excellent alternative to the more expensive sb-910. Recycle time is good and even better when the 5th battery is fitted, very easy to use “out of the box” and simple to set up as slaves and masters working well with the Nikon CLS, these flash guns will make a useful addition to any kit and won’t let you down, I haven’t found a situation where “I wish I’d spent a bit more on the 910” has been uttered. All in all, a brilliant flash gun with used prices at around the £150 mark, you get a lot of bang (flash) for your buck
