Rush at their finest
This is Rush at the top of their game. My 3 favourite Rush albums all started with "Power Windows" rlsd in 1985 followed by "Roll the Bones" rlsd 1991, "Hold your fire" rlsd 1987 and "Presto" rlsd 1989. Power windows kicks off with "Big Money" a rage against Greedy Banks which looking back now was very prophetic. The best track is the classic "Marathon" with vocalist Geddy Lee on top form. This is classic Rush full of big statements and crashing chords far removed from their earlier Prog rock days. Buy this album you will not be disappointed the re-masters will blow you away.

Classic Steve Winwood at his best
2 of 2 found this helpful This is Steve Winwood at the peak of his career in the mid-late 80's soulful rock in the same league as Tina Turner, Bryan Ferry, Joe Cocker, David Bowie etc. I lost my previous copy and saw this at a bargain price on e-bay. The album kicks off with an uptempo song called Roll with it which is typical 80's Winwood full of guitar riffs, horns and his soulful voice. Later we get a classic slow number "Don't you know what the night can do" with laid back harmonies and sexy saxophones. Other good tracks are "The Morning side" and "One more morning" If you want a definitive album from the late 80's you can't get much better than this album.Steve Winwood is still going strong and has a distinctive vocal style, other albums to seek out are, "Refugees of the heart" and "Back in the High life"
