Good wired remote shutter release
Having bought a D850 I was disappointed to find my existing Nikon remote was not compatible so had to buy a wired version. This is a simple alternative and works ok with my older Nikon bodies as well. In the box there is the shutter release itself with the two cables for either plug-in or screw-in connection to Nikon bodies plus a 2m extension cable. The shutter release button works as a half-press for focussing or full press to expose just like the camera button. For manually timed exposure (aka bulb function) you can slide forward to lock and release. The cables, connectors and plastics used are all good quality and should last years.

More expensive but it works where cheaper options fail.
I previously bought a product that did not work well and gave flickering results so it was returned. This product was advertised as having a more modern chip that worked better and it certainly did work better but so it should at the price paid. The only thing that lets it down slightly is the software and the fact that the device does not work with three different brands of video editing software I have on my computer that can import videos but do not recognise this device.

Bosch quality as expected
The factory fitted blades where worn out within nine months and low mileage. On first use of the Bosch blades you could visibly see the improvement, time will tell if they last longer than the Mercedes original cheapo product.
