Aquarium tank temperature monitor

This is excellent value for money. It is being used to monitor a temperature controlled aquarium and is used just as a secondary backup for a visual check on the temperature. It's not doing any temperature control but is an independent backup to check all is well. Bargain at the price

Power relay

For the price this is an excellent product. The power contacts are a good size so will take a long time to wear out. Used for several months now in a heater controller @10 Amps with no issues. I am using a resistive load but if you are powering an inductive load a 120R 0.5 watt resistor and a series 100nF X rated capacitor (Snubber circuit) will help look after the contacts. If you do use such a snubber circuit be careful as the snubber circuit bypasses the switch contact and will still conduct if the load is disconnected, so you will need an additional isolator. Read up on Snubber circuits on the web if you're not sure. If you are using a resistive load there is no need for a snubber circuit.
