Fair price, good product
Too soon to commit on how hard-wearing they may be, and they are still tight to get on but smart and comfy to wear.

Countax's are long-lived and robust if looked after, not cheap though
I was looking for a good, reliable, well made replacement for my now elderly Honda 1215 ride on mower.
I found this model 40 miles away and bought it and had to get a trailer to fetch it with. I was pleased to find that it was a K14 (i.e. 14hp) and may have been upgraded to 14hp with a replacement engine at some point in its 10 year life.
The Countax is well made and has the merit of collecting the grass by brushing it into the collector, rather than blowing it up a tube. Why is this good I hear you ask? Because it means that you don't end up with not just green fingers, but an entire green ARM from constantly unblocking the tube whenever there is the slightest moisture on the grass....
This model (the "K" series) has a manual gearbox which is less easy and convenient to operate than the more expensive "C" series which uses the constantly variable-speed hydrostatic drive.
The 37" and 42" cutting deck found on these mowers is very prone to corrosion and the one I bought is not that old but has been well-used and features many riveted and welded patches, but functions well enough.
The grass pick-up brush is driven by a separate belt which broke shortly after I bought the mower, and finding the correct length of belt, and then replacing the belt with the correct tension setting so that the new one stays on its pulleys over undulating ground is time consuming and requires a certain amount of trial and error and skinned knuckles.
For some un-fathomable reason and despite it being very RED, it also turns much tighter to the right than it does to the left, so going round the outside of the lawn is a clock-wise operation.
The engine is a briggs & stratton which normally I avoid in favour of honda or kawasaki, but at the risk of infuriating the lawn-mower-gods I will risk saying that this one is sweet and starts easily.
I've had several ride on mowers and function as under-groundsman at the village cricket pitch, and I can safely say that these Countax's are long-lived and robust if looked after, but never expect the lights to work.

Good solid "does what ir says on the can" product but expensive
It does the job well, but could do with more USB ports
