After plugging in to radio you have to hard wire to a power source. After that it works perfect.
The 3 prong fit perfectly into the radio.
Unfortunately the cigarette lighter plug barely fit. I have 3 different power sources in my 2012 f150 truck and only one kind of fit. If you hold it in it works. As soon as you let go it pops out.
