Works well

This product does it's job by avoiding sloppy shoes and saves buying a new pair. My wife lost 2x stone in weight, some off her feet so her shoes became too big. These pads take up the slack and prolongs the life of the shoes. However, I strongly recommend using a shoe-horn when putting on the shoes or the pads will be pushed down the inside of the heal and wrinkle.

They are all the same, very weak hinge pegs.

This product has an inherent weakness in the 'HINGE PEGS'. The pegs easily break off when any pressure is applied. They are ALL the same and could easily be beefed up at little extra cost during manufacture. I've just added extra strength to the back of the pegs with a couple of home-made alloy brackets. A couple of small wooden blocks would have the same support affect stuck with Araldite adhesive. I wonder whether they are deliberately weak to boost sales of spares..

Handy tool.

This extends to adequate length and the duster part also detaches for low-level duties. The duster is detachable from it's handle and thus, washable. One small criticism which can also be levelled at many other makes and models is that the end of the fibre pad is not very well protected and can scratch /graze your furniture if extra care is not taken. It easily scuffs high-gloss slab doors if used carelessly.
